For this project I was tasked with representing the city of Manchester through an alcoholic drink. After in depth research I decided on a honey flavoured rum, honey for the Manchester bee and rum was a traditional drink in the industrial era which I was attempting to represent. There would be two flavours, a honey flavour and a smoked flavour, the flavour would be inserted via a pipette acting like a stinger of a bee. I wanted to combine this with the smoggy aesthetic of an industrial Manchester.
