This projects aim was to create a custom typeface and present it as a fuse typographic poster. I created a reductive typeface with the aim of removing as much as possible from a single letter before it becomes illegible. I named the typeface fettle after the process involved a smooth cut from a rough edge which is the exact definition to fettle something. You’ll see the poster reads the word fettle but in the shape of a question mark to suggest the question of “is it legible?”
